Kings 5
Naaman came with his horses and war wagons. He stopped at Elisha's door.
Naaman's face went red. He spun around. He stormed off. "I thought he would come out himself! I thought he would stand there, call on Yahweh his God, wave his hand over my sores, and heal me!"
Naaman walked down to the Jordan. He dropped under the water. One time. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven! Just like the man of God said. He came up the last time and looked at his arms. New skin! Pink like a baby's! The white spots were gone!
He rushed back to the man of God with his whole group behind him. He stood in front of Elisha and his voice shook. "Now I know! There is no God in the whole world except in Israel! Please, take this gift!"
Naaman stopped. "If you will not take anything, then let me ask one thing. Give me enough dirt from this ground to load two donkeys. I want to take it home. From now on I will never burn anything to any other god. Only to Yahweh."
