2 Kings 21

¹ Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king. He ruled in Jerusalem for fifty-five years. His mother was Hephzibah.

⁴ Manasseh built altars for false gods right inside the temple of Yahweh! This was the very place where Yahweh had said, "I will make Jerusalem my home."

¹⁶ On top of all the sin Manasseh made Judah do, making Yahweh sick, Manasseh also killed so many people who did nothing wrong. Their blood filled Jerusalem from one end to the other!
