2 Corinthians 4

¹ God showed us mercy and gave us this work. We do not quit!

² We have turned our backs on secret shame. We do not live by tricks. We do not twist God's word. We set the truth out in the open. We speak to every person's heart. God is watching.

⁷ But we carry this treasure in clay jars that break so easy. This makes it clear. The huge power belongs to God, not to us.

⁸ We get squeezed from every side, but we are not smashed! We get confused, but we are not without hope!

¹³ We have that same spirit of faith the Scriptures talk about. "I believed, and so I spoke." We also believe, and so we speak!
