2 Corinthians 3

¹ Are we trying to sell ourselves to you again? Do we need letters that say we are good, either to you or from you, like some people need?

⁴ This is the kind of trust we have toward God through Christ.

⁶ He made us able to serve in a new covenant. Not a covenant of written rules. A covenant of the Spirit! Written rules bring death. The Spirit gives life!

⁷ The old way brought death. It was cut in letters on stones. Yet it came with glory so bright Israel could not stare at Moses' face. His face shone! But that shine was fading.

¹² We have this kind of hope. We speak with bold courage!
