1 Peter 3

¹ Wives, do the same thing. Put yourselves under your husbands. Even if some husbands do not obey God's word, they can be won. Not by talking! By how you live!

⁸ All of you, think the same way! Feel with each other. Love each other like family. Be soft. Be humble.

¹⁸ Christ got hurt for sins one time for everyone! The one who did right died for the ones who did wrong. He did this to bring you to God. He was killed in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

²¹ That water points to baptism. It saves you now. Not because it washes dirt off your skin! It is your cry to God for a clean heart. It works through Jesus Christ coming back from death.
