⁶ This makes you jump for joy! Even if right now, for a short time, you hurt from hard tests.

¹⁰ The men who spoke for God searched hard for this salvation. They dug deep to get what this grace coming to you meant.

¹³ Get your mind ready to go! Stay awake! Put all your hope in the grace coming to you when Jesus Christ shows up!

¹⁸ You were bought back! Not with things that go bad like silver or gold. You were bought back from that empty life you got from your fathers.
