Philip and Saul

After Stephen dies, a storm of trouble breaks over Jerusalem. Saul goes house to house, kicking in doors! He drags men and women out and throws them in prison. Believers run for their lives. They scatter across the land. But everywhere they run, they carry the good news with them.

Philip runs to Samaria and tells everyone about Jesus! Big crowds press in to hear him. Sick people jump up, healed! Evil spirits scream and fly out of people! Joy fills the whole city from one end to the other. Everyone is talking about what God is doing!

A man named Simon lives in Samaria. For years he amazed the whole city with his magic. People called him a great man. But when Philip tells them about Jesus, even Simon believes! He goes down into the water and is baptized with all the rest.
