How God Test Abraham

Abraham pray to God for Abimelech. When Sarah dey him house, Yahweh don close every womb. No wife, no servant fit born pikin. Not even one. But when Abraham pray, God open dem again. Life return back to that house because Abraham ask.

Yahweh keep him word. Sarah hold baby boy for her hands. For her old age! Abraham get him very own son! E name the boy Isaac. Sarah throw her head back come laugh loud. "God don make me laugh! Everybody wey hear go laugh with me!" Joy full every corner of that tent.

When Isaac be eight days old, Abraham circumcise am. Yahweh don tell am make e do this one. The sign of the promise now dey on the promised child himself. Sarah hold the baby tight. E cry, then e keep quiet. Twenty-five years of waiting, and e finally dey here. Warm and alive for her hands.
