Jeremiah 28

¹ That same year, early in the time when Zedekiah was king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, a prophet named Hananiah son of Azzur from Gibeon spoke to me. He spoke in Yahweh's temple. The priests and all the people were watching.

¹² Some time after the prophet Hananiah broke the wooden yoke off the neck of Jeremiah, the word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah.

¹³ Yahweh said, "Go and tell Hananiah this. Yahweh says: You broke a wooden yoke. But now you have made an iron yoke to take its place!"

¹⁷ That same year, in the seventh month, the prophet Hananiah died.
