⁷ Be patient, brothers and sisters, until the Lord comes. A farmer waits for good food to grow. He waits through the first rain. He waits through the last rain.

¹² More than anything, brothers and sisters, do not make promises by calling on heaven or earth or anything else. Just say yes or no. Then you will not fall down.

¹⁹ Brothers and sisters, someone walking with you turns away from what is true. Someone else brings them back.
