Hebrews 2

¹ So we must pay close attention to what we heard. We must hold on tight! If we do not, we will drift away.

⁵ God did not hand the world to come over to angels. We are not talking about angels here.

¹¹ The one who makes people holy and the ones being made holy all come from one Father. That is why Jesus calls them his brothers and sisters. He is not ashamed.

¹⁴ The children have flesh and blood. So Jesus took on flesh and blood too. He did this so he could die. And through dying, he broke the one who had the power of death. That one is the devil.
