Genesis 14

⁵ Year fourteen came. Chedorlaomer came to fight back. His friends came too. They swept through like a storm. They crushed the Rephaim. They crushed the Zuzim. They crushed the Emim.

¹² They grabbed Lot too! Abram's nephew. Lot lived in Sodom. The kings took him and everything he owned.

¹³ One man got away! He ran to Abram. Abram lived near the big trees of Mamre. Mamre had two brothers, Eshcol and Aner. They all made a deal to help Abram.

¹⁴ Abram heard the enemy took Lot. He jumped up! He called his fighting men. Three hundred eighteen men who grew up in his house. Abram ran after the enemy all the way to Dan.

¹⁵ That night Abram split his men into groups. He hit from every side! The enemy ran scared. Abram chased them past Damascus all the way to Hobah.
