2 Corinthians 10

¹ I, Paul, am asking you myself. I ask with the soft gentleness you see in Jesus. Yes, I who seem small when I am with you, but sound strong when I am away.

⁷ Are you judging only by what you see in front of you? If someone is sure he belongs to Jesus, he should think again. If he belongs to Jesus, then so do we!

¹² We would never be bold enough to rank ourselves with people who praise themselves. They measure themselves by themselves. They compare themselves with themselves. They do not even know what they are doing.

¹⁷ But here is the rule. If you are going to brag, brag about what the Lord did.
