¹ Jacob hear say grain dey Egypt. E look in sons. "Why una just sit down for here? Why una dey look each other like this?"

⁶ Na Joseph be the one wey dey rule the land now. Na im dey sell grain to everybody wey come. When in brothers reach, dem bow down low for in front. Dem face touch ground.

⁷ Joseph see dem. E sabi dem straight away. But e do like say e no sabi dem. In voice come out cold. Hard. "Where una from come?" Dem answer, "From Canaan land. We come buy food."

²⁷ Night come. Dem stop to rest. One man open in bag to feed in donkey. In money lay right there on top.
